DEREK PAUL ENRIGHT, 24, of Jeffersonton, VA , formerly of Herndon and Woodbridge, VA, passed away suddenly on November 10, 2021.
Born in Durham, North Carolina on February 10, 1997, Derek was the son of Brian Enright, Susan Forbes, stepfather, Wilbert “Bill” Forbes, Jr. and stepmother, Margaret “Dee” Enright.
In addition to his dad, mom, stepfather and stepmother, Derek is lovingly remembered by his siblings: Brother, Robert Charnock, sister-in-law, Anna, and niece, Emma Rose; Brother, Spencer Bungkrai, his partner, Nikki Jones, and nephew, Caine Bungkrai; Brother, Cobe Enright, his partner, Jasmine Wilson, and nephew Chase Enright; Sister, Margaret “Megan” Enright.
Derek was a 2016 graduate of Mountainview Highschool of Fairfax, VA. From there on, Derek dedicated himself to advance his passion of cars and helping his community, friends, and family. His incredible work ethic paid off when he became a co-owner and operator of CMAR LLC, where he worked alongside his best friend, Marco (Tony) Castillo. Derek also liked to eat, go on drives, spend time with friends and family, and frequently visit the gun range and car meets. He also had a large knowledge base on anything from cars to home improvement and everything in between. Derek was so eager to help those around him, that if he didn’t know how to fix something he would do extensive research to find a solution and do it well.
Derek had a big heart, a fun loving, goofy soul, never took life or himself too seriously, and was always willing to help anyone in need. Whether they needed help fixing their car or needed a tow at 2 a.m. they knew they could count on Derek. We hope to continue Derek’s memory and legacy by spreading love, laughter, and kindness wherever we go. He will be deeply missed until we reunite at the gates of Heaven.
