Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Amy, I was blessed with meeting her son Nathan at a lake front church service this past summer. The love she had for her boys was evident in the way he spoke about her. The way her family stood by her through each step of her journey is a true testimony of your love for her and an indication of how special she was. You will continue to be in the prayers of many at Elk Creek, asking that God give you peace, strength and hope to get through these difficult times. May the special memories Amy has left each of you live on in your hearts forever.

Amy was one of my favorite patients. She always made me smile and amazed me with her courage and perseverance. She will be deeply missed, but I find comfort in the fact that she is in a better place now and hope that all of you can find the same comfort. For now, tears must be shed but in time those painful moments are always replaced with happy memories. I pray that Amy find's her way to a peaceful place.

My prayers and deepest sympathy are with the entire family. Amy was a very special person to me. I will always remember our Saturday morning talks over coffee when she stayed with us. Amy was a beautiful young woman that will be so missed in this world. She was our daughters best friend, maid of honor and soul mate. They shared heart necklaces that they both wore for years as teenagers. Our love and prayers are with her family now. Jenny, you and Stan and her Dad and stepmom and brothers and sister. What a wonderful husband that made her so happy and the boys that she loved with all she had. Everyone is mourning and praying for God's peace for you all.

Joe, My Heart goes out to you and your children. Though it might seem that Amy as lost the battle the truth is that she has won... Revelations 21:4 gives a glimpse into where Amy has gone. "And God will wipe away every tear from the eyes: there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Amy healed now. May you depend on God for strength at this time of your loss. My love and prayers, Rusty

The only comfort I can offer is the same comfort I found with my mother's passing from cancer. Her spirit is strong, her mind is willing, but her body's time on Earth is through. We can't go through life without our bodies, but Amy will live on forever in everyone's hearts and prayers. We will keep the family in our prayers. Brian

Amy was a great lady and even greater human being. I have not forgotten, nor will I forget the wonderful support she gave our team during my first two years in Iraq. Above and beyond her professional support, she gave herself; and all on the team appreciated her sincere friendship. Joe and family, I empathize with your loss and will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Truly, the world has lost a most wonderful human being. God bless all, Dan Porvaznik

We are Amy's neighbors and I cannot express how deeply saddened we are that she was taken away so soon. She was always so beautiful, so warm and so friendly. We used to watch Amy spend time with her boys in the backyard - she was just a family person and nothing mattered to her more. I can go on and on but we would like Joe and the kids to know that we feel so deeply for them - only they know the grief they are going through. May God Bless you and carry you through these times. Our deepest condolences to Amy's parents - we have seen them go through so much also this entire year. Our condolences to everyone in Amy's families, her relatives and all her near and dear ones. From Amod, Adrianne, Angelica, Akur and Grandma Pauline - your loving neighbors on Donovan Drive.

Jim and Beverly, We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy. I had the privilage of meeting Amy a few years ago and knew the first time we met she was someone very special and truly loved by all she knew. Your love for Amy (and her boys) came through very strong in each conversation we shared about them. As a daughter myself, I can tell you the love of a father is so important to have and Amy certainly knew how much you loved her. May the out pouring of kind acts of friends and strangers and the comfort in knowing that your loss is felt by many, help you during this difficult time.

Though I only knew Amy for a short time as one of my patients, I will always hold her close to my heart. She had a spirit about her that shone through even during some of her darkest times. She had a fighting spirit and gave everything she could possibly give, despite the odds, to be with her boys and the rest of her family for as long as she physically could. I pray that for her family that over time you will be blessed with peace and memories that will continue to carry Amy with you. As for her boys, I am sure she will be their angel in heaven watching over them always. God Bless all of you!
