Obituary of Amy Elizabeth Monahan

Amy Elizabeth Monahan (age 37) On Oct. 31, 2011 Amy died at her residence in South Riding, VA. She was the beloved wife of Joseph A. Monahan and loving and devoted mother of Nathan, Matthew and Maxwell. Her parents are James Ross (Beverly) and Mary Virginia Polonsky (Stan). She is the sister of Trey Polonsky and Courtney Polonsky. Although with us for only a brief time she leaves a deeply rich, colorful legacy filled with many friends and a loving family. Over the past year she fought a courageous life to live another day for her children and family. She remains our spirited joy of life within our hearts and souls loving each of us unconditionally. May we each have this strength and similar courage to stand within the sunshine of her life today and tomorrow. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Fri Nov. 4, 2011 at Arcola United Methodist Church 24757 Evergreen Mills Rd. Dulles, VA 20186. Funeral services will take place at the church, Sat.
