I worked closely with John when I was at Akima. John was my favorite colleague. He was such a wonderful person to be around and always had such a positive attitude. He is truly missed. This world isn’t the same without John Glass.

John is definitely missed by his family at Akima. He was one of those people who didn't shy away from the tough problems, but worked them in a way that everyone stayed calm, respectful and respected. Everything and everyone he touched was better for it! He made time to get all the work done and grow relationships along the way. I loved sharing stories about our kids and families while we figured out what financial charts were really saying or finalizing internal financial training. I'm honored that I had the chance to work with him and call him a friend. I'm so sorry he was taken from us way too soon.
Rest in peace, my friend.

I was very sad to hear of John's passing. John was a wonderful man who left this life way too early. I know how much he loved his family. I was also very moved by his faith and relationship with our Lord, especially given the challenges he faced so gracefully. I will miss you, John. I am comforted to know that you are with our Lord in Paradise. I pray for comfort and peace to the entire Glass family.

John was/is such a great guy. Never sideways. Never a back stabber. Good man. I enjoyed working with him. I was 26 maybe when I met him. I’m 51 now. He made a lasting impression by just being a good and kind man. - Eric McCamey

I was so incredibly saddened to hear of John's passing....I knew John back in our SAIC days and helped convince him to join us at Akima, LLC over a decade ago. Quickly after joining the company, John helped make numerous positive changes. One very significant impact was John's contribution to Akima's Quarterly Business Review (QBR) reports and processes, which I'm sure will continue to be in place for years to come. John was highly respected for his financial acumen and wonderful disposition. Being in John's presence at the office was always a breath of fresh air. He was such a good guy, great sounding board and always full of infectious positive energy. The world needs more people like John Glass.
Rest in peace my friend, you will be missed.....

Butch and I spent a lot of time together in high school, and lots of great memories come back… one of my favorites was the night we took the 3 cylinder Chevy Vega out to TP Janie Seiderberg’s house and her dad chased us off the property and we realized we could just run faster than that car could ever take us away from that angry dad!! Butch and I agreed in 1985 that Elton John’s “Funeral for a Friend” would be the song one of us would play in honor of the other on that day… I still can’t believe that day has come. As Butch is now with our Heavenly Father, I look forward to being with him again someday and revisiting all our fun memories together… See you on the other side.

Butch always made us laugh when he would shake his head back and forth, when he stopped his hair always ended back exactly how it started. We called him muppethead.
