John P. Glass, was born October 24, 1969, to Col. (Ret.) Robert R. Glass and Dawn M. Glass. He grew up with his two brothers, Scott and Mike, whom he loved dearly. John was a graduate of Robinson High School in Fairfax, Virginia, and went on to earn his BS and MBA degrees from Virginia Tech. He worked in government contracting finance where he truly enjoyed his job, and his wonderful colleagues. He loved music, conversation, sports, camping, travel, movies, good books, and ice cream. John was an incredibly loving, caring, and generous husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, son, and friend, whose true life’s passion was spending time with his family, especially his children.
John passed from this life all too soon on Thursday, April 7, 2022, in South Riding, Virginia, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 52 years. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. We will remember his smile, his warmth, and his happiness and love for life, family, and friends. With his ever positive and cheerful spirit he made a difference in the lives of many, especially his family. Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Bob and Dawn Glass; his brother Scott and his wife Christine; his brother Mike and his wife Laurie; nephews Matthew, Steven, Gage, Michael, and Russell, as well as a host of family, friends, and loved ones too numerous to mention. He will be cherished most of all by his wife, Lisa, and their two beautiful children, John and Morgan. All three adored him “to the moon and back… infinity times.”
We invite you to join us and celebrate together.
