I've known John my whole life. In those years I've been most impressed to see how much love and devotion he had to give during the hard times of those who were the most close to him. I hope that he has found peace and that the world in which he now lives is brighter.

I have known John for many years, but first came to know him well when I lived with the family on Queens Row Street. I will always remember the living room filled with his keyboards and synthesisers as he explored his musical creativity. More recently, I admired John’s gift of being a really good and loving father to Maxwell and Mason. It was heart warming to see him with the boys, who clearly looked up to and loved him as well. I knew him to be naturally intelligent, quick minded and creatively gifted. His goal was always to become a master at each of his hobbies, from music to woodworking to 3-D printing to writing and those are just the things I can think of at the moment. He was always interested in sharing his talents, his interests and his ideas and his spirit will be missed.

To borrow from my son, who told me a couple years ago about his sister.
"You were my first friend"
To anybody I spoke with that weren't familiar, I always introduced you as one of the smartest people I know.
You already had a 4 year head start on me but I followed your shadow like a puppy dog in the beginning.
Over the years you grew up to be a very special human being who I looked up to and very proud of.
You have such a beautiful family, And you will be so proud of your son Maxwell as he grows up.
I'm going to miss the shoulder you would always give me no matter of circumstance or time of day.
I don't have all the words needed to let others know what you have meant to all of us.
I know thru your family and friends that we will always share the stories and photos of your time with us.
Gone but not forgotten , Fair winds my brother. We will meet again.
