Obituary of Joseph M Brown

On Friday, July 22, 2022, Joseph Michael Brown, Sr. passed peacefully. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Simms Brown, devoted father of Joseph Michael Brown, Jr., Sherry Wilson (Jerry), Jacqueline Parks, Vincent Troy Brown, Kevin Brown (Deirdre), and loving grandfather of Tasha Frisk (Danny), Jerry Wilson, Jr., Vincent Wilson, Bernard Parks, Jr., Mario Parks, Khalyn Brown, Devin Brown, Darius Brown, Danielle Brown and nine great grandchildren. He is survived by his; brothers: Steven Brown (Betty), Anthony Brown (Sandra), Nicholas Brown, and Matthew Brown (Tina): sisters; Sharon Ellis, Vivian Bailey (Warren), Patricia Jones (Lawrence), Desiree Brown, Joslynn Howard (Winfred), and Dwendolyn Woody (Byron) and a host of family and friends. A public viewing will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 10 a.m. and following will be a celebration of his life at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 2516 Squirrel Hill Road, Herndon, VA, Rev. Kevin E. Donalson Sr., Pastor. Interment at Tippett’s Hill Cemetery, 1700 Moran Road, Sterling, Virginia.

Dad always put God first.  As a devoted Christian he would always quote the Bible to anyone in need of encouragement.  He was a loyal husband, brother, uncle, friend, and father to all. You would’ve enjoyed his company because he was always cheerful and would love spending the time with you.  He will be greatly missed!

All Praise and Glory to God as our Dad has received his victory in Christ Jesus. Prayers lifted up for family & friends for comfort and strength. And the Lord has said, "Job Well Done Mr. Michael Brown"
