To Lois, Dave, Geoff , Toni, Monique, and all your children and grandchildren,
I have just attended - remotely-the service for Dave. I walk away now , wishing with all my heart that we all had lived closer all these years. David's memorial to his Dad, representing all the family's thoughts of love, was the most wonderful story a wife, son and family could have. I mean that with all my heart. I cannot count the times over the years I've said how much I just love being around Dave and Lois. My own craziness -my nonstop motion-my hyperactive approach to life which I readily admit is my style, needed to be around the peacefulness, sincerity, capability, and comfort of my sister-in-law and brother-in-law to help me get a glimpse of "the right way to live." You all now have to adjust to life without this wonderful man in your presence, and that won't be easy. When your tears stop momentarily, just remember what he gave you in life- comfort and peace,( as David said in his eulogy) and realize he is really still there sending you that same comfort and peace. You will feel it, I know. As an "in-law", seeing Dave at Price/Rosche family events, my admiration for him grew with each passing year of my marriage to Tom (Uncle Tom). How I looked forward to those winter visits to us here in Florida over the past several years. Please accept our love at this time and know we are feeling deep sadness. What a wonderful man Dave is.
