Please accept my sincere condolences. Beddie was one of my favorite people at Hutchison. She always had a smile for everyone and took care of everyone. I especially remember how much she enjoyed being at the beach.

I worked at Hutchison E.S. for 6 years as a Kindergarten teacher. Beddie was a kind soul who loved to laugh! The best memory I have of her was in the lunch line with my " babies". Red jello was being served. Bedde asked the kids if they wanted whipped cream topping. I piped up that I would because I LOVED whipped cream and opened my mouth. She didn't hesitate a second filling my mouth with homemade whipped cream. Bedde and I laughed until we both cried! She and I laughed about this antic for years to come.
Bedde was one of a kind with her wit, laugh, and twinkling eyes. She was a true treasure to the whole Hutchison Family.

Beddie was the cafeteria manager at Hutchison Elementary School where I worked and my children attended. She truly cared about the children in our school.; always kind and loving yet stern when she needed to be. She was indeed a treasure and the world is a much sadder place without her.

Thank you Beddie for all you have done for Vienna Woods and for the children of Vienna Woods. We will never forget you or the countless hours you gave to Vienna Woods pool and snack bar to make it the best snack bar around, not to mention the thousands of orders of cheese fries you served up over the years and we thank you for that, but most of all Beddie, thanks for the memories and thanks for being you.

Beddie-was a special woman who enjoyed and took pride in giving to others. I remember her providing for children at school the meals they needed and the fun summer snack bar days at the pool.
