Obituary of Gulab Bhavnani

Gulab Bhavnani, son of Jaji and Ganga passed away on Monday, 13 March, 2023 at the age of 79 at his home in Reston, VA. He died peacefully while surrounded by his closest family and friends. Gulab is survived by his wife Trimona, his son Samir, daughter Serena & her husband, Bryan, and his grandchildren whom he couldn't have adored or loved more, Ahna, Isaac, Anjali, Connor, his honorary grandchildren, Ishan and Annika, brother Ajit and wife Anita, and their children Smita, Siddharth and Aditya.  Gulab will be joining his deceased grandson, Sebastian, and his loving parents in whatever comes next.

Gulab lived a full life. His contagious and optimistic enthusiasm was evident to all he encountered - both personally and professionally. As a boy growing up in india, a student at IIT, a trailblazer immigrating to a new country, a successful entrepreneur, an involved father and grandfather, loving husband, and mentor to so many, he approached all aspects of life with gentle wisdom, selfless patience, and deep concern for others.

His life will be celebrated on Sunday, March 19th at 10:15am at the Adams-Green Funeral Hall in Herndon, VA with observance of both American and Indian customs and dress
