I met Carmella in late 1990, early 1991 when I worked at Prison Fellowship Ministries. Carmella made going to work so much fun! When I had my first child in May 2005 I took him to her house to meet her. Here is a photo from that memorable day.
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss!

We are so sorry to hear of “Aunt Carmella” ‘s passing. We loved her dearly. Our family has been friends with them for over 50 years. Ann and Bill Redmond’s kids have always known them lovingly as Aunt Carmella and Uncle Rich. Aunt Carmella was my mom’s dearest and most treasured friend. We were neighbors for a short time in Bowie over 50 years ago and in that short time a treasured friendship developed that has lasted over 50 years. Aunt Carmella was a force of nature. Her laugh could light up a room, and she is known by all as an amazing cook. We will miss her dearly, but we are consoled by 50 years of wonderful memories of this wonderful lady.

To Carmella's family:
Carmella was my dear best childhood friend who I grew up with in Panther Hollow. We went to St. Paul Cathedral Grade School and High School together. worked at Forbes Field and socialized together and got in trouble together (just kidding). I,. too, lost my husband In January of 2022. I am so sorry that you have lost your mother. Carmella was such a great person and I am sure you will miss her dearly. I will pray for her and for you to accept God's will. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May she rest in peace.

Carmella was a wonderful colleague at Prison Fellowship. Her sparky sense of humor and her great generosity made this colorful lady a friend of everybody. We loved working with her and will always be grateful for the years when our paths crossed.
