I first met Dan 20 years ago when I was coming and going from my office (downstairs from his), and while he took breaks from work. He was so easy to talk to, we quickly struck up a friendship. I was always happy to see him. Dan was an incredibly kind, thoughtful, and steady soul. He had a gentle sense of humor too. I had not seen him much in the past few years due to the pandemic. My deep condolences to Dan's family. His passing is huge loss. I will remember him.

Uncle Danny was one of very few men in my life to show me genuine unconditional love. His hugs were sincere and he spoke with conviction. He was easy to talk to and truly listened to me when I needed someone to hear me the most. I love him more than he knew.

Danny was my only brother. We were VERY close and could talk about ANYTHING. What a HUGE blessing it was to have that freedom and relationship with Danny!! I loved him BEYOND MEASURE!! Now I feel lost. Trying to imagine life without him seems unbearable. And it would be so if our LORD and MANY prayers were not involved!!
Danny’s life verse from the Bible was Ephesians 2:8,9 “ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” He would want everyone who reads this to know that. He would also want anyone who is not saved to get saved in order to spend eternity in Heaven. If you want to know how to do that and don’t know how, PLEASE feel free to ask me (Pam Valko) or call/text me at 724-561-2644. I will be honored to show you from the Bible how to get saved.
Until I see you again, Danny, PLEASE KNOW that I remain upheld by our LORD, and I’ll “keep on steppin’ like I had good sense.”

It was a happiness to be friends with such a wonderful man, and a blessing to have him as a part of our family. There is not many people who can make you feel so special and happy like Dan did and I am very grateful for that. I remember how much he love me and my daughter Sebila (his daughter in law) who was born in Sarajevo and he always wanted to go back one day. I wish he did but I am sure, here or in Sarajevo Dan will always be in my mind and prayers. We are all going to miss his kindness, humor and love . Enisa
