My Aunt Jo remains a wonderous influence in my life. I remember first meeting her when she and Uncle Tom first came for Thanksgiving dinner to our family’s house in the late 1950s. She was my idea of a “Cool Cat” throughout her life!
Many visits followed and marvelous made-by-hand Christmas gifts were always under our tree. My brothers, Dan and Pat Miles, received matching wool sweaters that were thoroughly worn and made their way to our sons.
Aunt Jo will remain in my heart, right beside Uncle Tom. I love them both.
