I have always thought about Linda. Today, just by chance I decided to look her up. I'm very sad to see that she has passed away. It was 1997 in Philadelphia, PA and I just graduated from high school the year prior. I went off to California for my first year of college and sadly returned briefly to work and go back to a different college. I desperately needed money and Linda gave me a job as a Receptionist at a law firm downtown Philadelphia in Center City. I was 19 with no experience and she gave me a chance. She was a super boss. She was very hard working, dedicated and very, very kind. She set the standard for bosses in my life. She supported my dreams! I told her I was going back to California to pursue my career as an actress. I had graduated from a Performing arts high school and had spent my childhood on stage acting and training. When it came time to leave she said, " Lana, if California doesn't work out for you; you can always come back and you'll have a job here. Guaranteed." I'm still in Los Angeles, living out my dreams. All these years have went by and, I never forgot about Linda. I am forever grateful for her. Rest well, sweet Linda. Many blessings to her family and friends. -Lana Leigh Taylor

We met Linda Oliva for the first time when she and Michael came to our Christmas party in 1998. We have been close friends ever since. We have fond memories of tailgating at the Virginia Gold Cup races every spring and fall, attending wine festivals together and meeting occasionally for dinner at a little French Restaurant in Old Town Alexandria. We loved their parties and formal dinners. Always memorable events and they always came to ours. Linda had her camera to capture special moments whenever we saw her, and she sent us an annual calendar with her amazing photos. I saved all of them, along with her incredibly thoughtful handmade cards. They are all with my dearest keepsakes. I loved Linda’s laugh, it was like a tiny tinkling bell. Linda was a lady of remarkable kindness, grace and charm. Funny and easy to be with. We miss her and our hearts are with Michael who loved her deeply and with his entire heart. May our shared Catholic faith and the sweet memories of their life together sustain him and all who feel her loss. Rest in pease sweet Linda, we love you always.

Linda's passing has filled my soul with great sadness. I still cherish the memory of our lunch in Rome when Linda and Mike were in the Eternal City last. May the Lord welcome her among the blessed souls and grant Michael the balm of the great memories they shared together.

Michael.
Words cannot begin to express our sorrow and pain with the passing of our Linda. She was someone who made every life that she graced a better person. Whether it was her smile, infectious laughter, empathy for others and kindness, she was always there for everyone.
While she will be missed by so many who lives she touched, our hearts go out to you at this time of loss of your soulmate and lifetime partner. While no words of comfort are adequate at a time such as this, at least we know she is held in the arms of the Almighty in peace and in paradise with all the saints she stands with.
Our love always,
Alma, Cliff, Joseph and Jennifer

Linda you were sweetness personified, always caring for others. Just one example, out of countless ones - you kept a list of our special needs, likes and dislikes, so that you were always ready when we visited. Ready to make sure that we felt welcome and cared for; and you never missed anything. My dear, dear, dear friend, I wish I had more pictures of you. You were always the one with the camera in hand and so you were rarely in the many pictures of our times together. I have two from the time we shared together in Sicily; one is from our visit to the Madonna della Sciara in Mompilieri, a very special moment for all of us. You are missed dearly by us; and our children have very warm memories of your kindness. RIP sweet Linda.

In memory of Linda, an embodiment of love, kindness, and courage. Her boundless creativity was only matched by her selflessness that continued to inspire. As my friend and co-worker, our shared breakfasts in Leesburg became treasured memories filled with laughter. We never ran out of conversation topics, her presence always a comfort. The world seems dimmer without her radiant smile. Yet through this grief, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and remember the joy she sowed wherever she went.

Linda was the Fulginiti Family Easter Bunny and so very much more. Linda always had a smile and was the caring, cheery, giggly wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, godmother, and friend to us all! She always had the camera in her hand - waiting to capture that next moment for the yearly family calendars – we all loved to get each year. Couldn’t wait to get our next edition to see what she had in store for us each month and hang it on our walls so that we were surrounded by the Fulginiti Family all year long! Linda never forgot a birthday or anniversary – she was LOVE! Linda you have always been very special to me and my family. RIP, I love you and miss you so much, special lady! Heaven has truly been given an Angel!

Linda and I met while working at the same law firm for more than 15 years. At the office we were known as Linda “O” and Linda “F”. Linda and I began having lunch together and found that we not only shared our first name in common, but also our faith, love of family and friends, as well as the joy of cooking and exchanging recipes. Linda was a wonderful cook, she often brought cakes, cookies and other homemade goodies to the office to share on birthdays and other occasions. During our time working together, I have many special memories of Linda, Julie Krumpelman and I sharing the craft of hand-made greeting cards which we gave on various occasions to co-workers, friends and family. Linda always made the loveliest greeting cards. Over the years, Michael and I became friends as well. They invited me to their home many times for breakfast, lunch or dinner. At Christmas, Linda and Michael always invited me to ride along with them to our office Christmas celebration each year. Linda and Michael loved giving gifts which we exchanged with each other on birthdays and at Christmas. My friendship with Linda was special, she was a true friend with a sweet spirit, and very highly thought of by my family. Linda brought much joy to my life, and I miss her dearly. I’m so blessed to have known her. I’m thankful knowing that she’s now at peace, resting in the presence of God.

Linda and I worked together at the same law firm for over 10 years. During that time we often enjoyed having lunch together in our lunchroom, talking about our families, our faith and our travels. We also enjoyed making personalized cards for each other and for our family and friends, and we would share ideas on crafting. Linda made such beautiful cards. My fondest memories are of Linda, Linda Farmer and I celebrating each other’s birthdays and celebrating the birthdays of other co-workers around us. We would have a cart decorated with a dessert (usually one of Linda’s many delicious creations), flowers and a birthday card and would gather other coworkers around to surprise the birthday person with a song. It brought so much joy to each of us to do this, and to all those that gathered around. Linda was a beautiful woman, inside and out, a true gem. I miss her, but I know that she is safe in the arms of God. I am so blessed to have been a small part of her journey and she a part of mine. She surely helped me find my joy. Peace be with you, sweet Linda.

As a child, I remember Linda being one of the warmest and most fun grown ups for me and my brother to go meet with our parents. Always full of smiles and baked goodies, Linda made her home warm and welcoming to us as children, and later as grown ups. I am honoured that she was able to meet my baby girl, and the card that Linda made us is a forever keepsake. Linda’s light and love shine on, always.

One of the finest dinners we ever had, and that includes those in famous restaurants and even, in two cases, palaces, was in Linda and Michael's home. As always, the food was outstanding, but the fellowship of that evening was equally memorable. Michael sometimes masks his great sense of humor behind a somewhat morose exterior. Linda didn't hide anything. She was always openly funny and kind and the creator of the best cheesecake in memory. We will always miss her. Dan and Mary Howard

One of our fondest memories of Linda was a few years ago we went to Harpers Ferry, W. Va. for Olde Time Christmas. Linda was so excited to see all the people dressed in their old timey garb and had to talk to everybody! We really enjoyed ourselves watching Linda enjoy herself. It was a really lovely day and evening running into a very nice dinner in Sheperdstown, W. Va
Linda had a very calming presence about her and was one of the nicest ladies we have ever met. We shared many wonderful meals together at Linda and Michaels home. We will miss her so very much.

Linda was one of the kindest, friendliest people we have known. She and Mike were a perfect couple who enjoyed each other and their friends. It will take time for her loved ones to grieve. We know everyone will remember her decency, humanity, and grace. Thanks for the time you shared with us, Linda.
