My dear sweet brother. I cannot tell you how much you are loved and missed. I want you to know, and everyone else, that you are the best brother anyone could ever have. I will not use pass tense when I speak of you. I could not have asked for a better brother had I been able to pick one myself. You are the kind of brother that all should have and want to be related to. There are so many things I could say. I truly dont know where to begin. I have always been so proud of you and always considered you "MY HERO". I was so proud of you in high school. One of the jocks of football, basketball and track. What a Big Star you are. But not a stuck up one. Anyone could approach you and you would greet them with that great big smile. That is something alot of your friends have been sharing with me through out your illness. You smile, you sense of humor, your kindness to others. I have always been proud of the fact that you served your country. Vietnam was not a good place to be, but you did it and you served honorably. I cant believe you never shared your be awarded the Bronze Star, until the last few years. I know it was a part of your life you truly didnt want to talk about, but what you did for your country at that time was admirable. Thank you for your service. Kenny I know how proud you are of all your kids, and how very much you love them. You are a great, kind and loving father. Your children adore and love you. As long as the Rankin men are around, and your dear first grand-child, Wyatt James Rankin, the Rankin legacy will live on, and on, and on. Whew!!! And your beautiful daughters, you really produced some beautiful and handsome children. You are so loved by all of them. I am so happy you and Sally were able to find one another and pick up and carry on some years together. I know the partnership you shared was a good one. I know she will be very lonely without you here physically, but you will always be with her in her heart and your spirit will surround her. Your mother has always loved you, from the time you was an infant. She did a great job of raising you. She adores you and loves you forever. Make sure you watch over her. Her heart is happy youre out of pain and suffering and at peace. And like she said to you today she will be one day again. So sweet brother rest in peace. I know you, Betty, Shelia, Junior, and Sissy are probably somewhere fishing as I am sitting here writing. In my opinion you have already made the biggest catch of your life and that's HEAVEN. I love you my brother and my friend. Your jouney has just begun. God Bless and keep you Your loving sister (SIS)
