I was very sorry to hear of George's death. I knew him through the Screaming Eagles, the DC United supporters club. Even if the weather was frightful (cold rain or remorseless steamy heat) or the team was in a slump, George always had a wry grin and some words of good cheer. He was a good chap, and he will be sorely missed, I'm sure, by all who knew him. My condolences and sympathy go to Mary and the rest of his family.
