I live at Lake Ann Fellowship House and have know Robert for about 7 years. I didn't know him well, but what impressed me about Robert was what a quiet, simple (not complicatd) man, not known for gossip. A man of few words, and when I would ask how he was he would always reply "Alright" I will miss seeing him sitting on on park bench in the patio area where I park my car when returning from work. A kind man who once told me that he thought that God had a shelf of people and that when God wanted one to be born, why he would take that one down from the shelf. Oh, and one more thhing, I know that Robert suffered from back pain, and so do I now these past 4 years, but talking about the pain I once said to him: Well, Robert it's not forever, and he laughted and said, I sure hope not.
