I wish to express my condolences to the Smith Family especially Mason and Ricky. I have many fond memories of Chan during the time I was assigned to the Great Falls VFD in 1975/76. He was a great guy and I looked forward in him coming through the door into the kitchen at Great Falls Station to BS with us, Buddy Allen and others of the VFD morning coffee group. We were truly fortunate to have moved into the house next door to Chan and Joan. A more loving, generous, and committed couple would be hard to find. Our family has been deeply and permanently touched by Chan's kindness, humor, and inextinguishable spirit.
