Dear Mr and Mrs Smith, I just heard of the news of Dear Katie's Passing and am so saddened to learn of this great loss to both of you. I met Katie at Watson Salsbury Pediatrics when she was a tiny infant and I was her Nurse. Please know that my heart is heavy with sadness for you and your family and that you will be in my prayers. I wish you both some peace and comfort and may the many happy memories you both shared with her help in some way to heal your broken hearts. Warmley, Lyn Tennant

Dear Anita and Phil, we feel extremely saddened by the news of your loss and can not even imagine how you must be feeling. We shall always remember how much we enjoyed your Christmas visits at our daughter's Eugenia home, bringing with your sweets the love and warmth of your frienship and a good example of kindness for your daughter. Katie will allways be remembered by us with her wide and beautiful smile and her mature and witty conversation. Our hearts are hurting and full of grief for you both and know that we will be praying that you find peace and comfort in your souls knowing what a wonderful human being you raised. GOD BLESS you all. Love, Olvido and Angel Sirgo

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith: I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Katie, but my son, Andrew, spent much time with her in journalism and at JCamp at VA Tech. As a member of the Oakton High School community, I send my prayers and offer my deepest sympathies. Sincerely, Patty Reed FCPS School Board Providence District
