I share in your sorrow at Lucy's passing, but also in your knowing that she is finally at peace and in God's safe hands.She gave a brave battle, but cancer rears its ugly head when we least expect it. To John and family....I just found out about Lucy's passing....I grew up with Lucy in Larchmont and was close friends with her from the time we attended St. Augustine School together through our graduation together from Mamaroneck High School in 1975...at the suggestion of Kathy Shockey I exchanged emails will Lucy in recent years after she became sick, including an email exchange six weeks ago.....from my wife Cathy (also a 1975 MHS graduate and friend of Lucy's) and from me please accept our condolences on Lucy's passing and warmest wishes during this difficult time...Lucy and I shared many great memories growing up in Larchmont, swimming and diving together at the Larchmont Shore Club, Larchmont Yacht Club, and the Hommocks Pool....I was friends with brothers John, Larry, Charlie and Billy growing up....if you remember please tell them I was asking for them and tell them I have thought about Lucy in recent years, and that I think fondly of all of our shared memories from growing up together in Larchmont.....
