Obituary of Laurie Vedeler Sloan

Laurie Vedeler Sloan, age 51, of Reston passed June 20. Loving mother of Katharine Sloan of Long Beach, CA and Christopher Sloan of Reston, VA. Daughter of Donald G. Vedeler (Linda) of Estero, FL and Marjorie Vedeler of Rye, NH. She is also survived by her sister Janice Vedeler of Manchester, NH and nephew Andrew Vedeler of Manchester, NH as well as countless other relatives and friends. She was a graduate of Georgetown University School of Foreign Service class of 1983. A memorial service will be at 2:00pm, Monday, June 25 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 651 Dranesville Road, Herndon, VA. Memorial donations suggested to the Humane Society, Heifer International, or the foundation of your choice.
