It's already been a year, just wanted to let you know I still pray for you all. I think of him often, when I see a similar red car or truck, or when I go to Harris Teeter mostly. He had so many stories about him and Ki and we would laugh so hard. I know he's gone to a place where there is only laughter and smiles now. Take care and God Speed.

We were buddies from the first day we met. We loved the twinkle in his eyes. We'll miss him.

Don't think of him as gone away, his journey's just begun. Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting, from the sorrow and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years. Think how he must be wishing that we know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away, and think of him as living, in the hearts of those he touched for nothing loved is ever lost, and he was loved so much. This was a message shared to us by "Red" and we, in turn, share with you. We miss him very much.

Do not stand by my grave and weep. I am not there I do not sleep. I am a 1000 winds that blow,I am the diamond glints on snow.I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle Autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swifth uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circling flight,I am the soft star shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. This poem helped me at a difficult time. Love always, MaryJane Robey Shifflett

I am so sad that you left, but am ever so glad that you were here. I’m going to miss all the funny stories you would tell me and the way we could just laugh about the silliest things, and don’t forget the great recipe tips you would give me even though neither one of us were suppose to eat all that fat. Although I’m going to miss you so very much I Thank You for leaving me with a smile every time I think of you. Sending love to you in heaven.
