Georgia Ann Alkire, age 83 of Reston, passed October 4 at Sunrise at Reston. Loving mother of Steve Alkire of San Diego, CA, Jim (Libby) Alkire of Herndon, VA, and Bruce Alkire of Reston. Sister of Valborg Avancena of Sterling, VA. Also survived by grandchildren, Kelle, Tommy, Brittney, and Ben; great-grandson, Stephen. A memorial service will be held at 1p.m., Saturday, October 13 at Sunrise at Reston 1778 Fountain Drive Reston, VA. Memorial donations suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
