Please accept my condolences on Jay's passing.
Jay was a wonderful Architect and mentor to me in the mid 70's while working together at JRTA. Jay was always willing to take the time to explain details and processes that have been vital to my development as an Architect. He gave me responsibilities and guided my progress. I will never forget his kindness and will always consider him part of my work to this day.

Although I haven't seen him in several years( I believe the last time was in Blacksburg at a football game), I have many fond memories of Jay.
