Obituary of Edna Nora McHugh

Edna "Nana" McHugh (age 82) On January 5, 2013 at her residence in Haymarket. Beloved wife of 61 years to Leonard McHugh. Loving and devoted mother of Colleen Colangelo (Mark) and Tara Daniels (Ed), both of Chantilly. She is also survived by 7 granddaughters, Erin, Heather, Meghan, Jessica, Caitlin, Kaylin and Brooke. She is also survived by her nephews Rick Grundmann (Diane) and Bill Grundmann (Lori) and grandnephews Ryan and Kyle Grundmann. Mrs. McHugh centered her life around her grandchildren's activities and friends and was affectionately known as "Nana" to many. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm on Friday January 11, 2013 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 11900 Lawyers Rd. Reston, VA, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Humane Society of Fairfax County 4057 Chain Bridge Rd.
