My Dad
My Dad loved life and all that it bears
With a smile and hands open to greet each day
His eyes full of wonder and showing he cares
A new idea or thought that could hold you at bay.
My Dad loved his family and forever embraced us
F Fred loved his family
R Rejoiced with each member
E Enjoyed all immensely
D Delighted he'd say and behold our every fiber.
My Dad had his favorites for fun and excitement
Researching and writing the geometry of boat building
Sailing and swimming the ocean until well spent
Astronomy Nights enjoyed by all gathering.
My Dad used the best examples to live by
Lead with intelectual wonder and meaning
Praise all to use intellegence, not say bye
Lead and Praise he'd do while convening.
My Dad had great qualities and character and was a very special man
All his family want everyone to know what a gentleman he was
How he never had an unkind word about anyone or anything-life's best plan
We Love You Dad and you'll be in our hearts forevermore-that's our buzz!
So thank you dear Dad for all that you taught
The lessons you gave filled all of our needs
All that you gave is what we all got
Will be carried for years by all of your seeds.
