I am shocked and saddened by the news of Kathy's recent passing. My family spent 15 years as next door neighbors to Kathy, John and their boys. We could not have had better neighbors if we had chosen them ourselves. Kathy was an absolutely charming lady and always so very kind and caring of others. She was the first neighbor to "stop in" and introduce herself and her then pre-school son, Matt. I will always remember John sneaking out to puff on a cigar for a few minutes, but always mindful that if Kathy came out and caught him, he would be in big trouble!
Kathy was a wonderful kind and loving wife, mom, grandmother and friend. May God Bless her. I always enjoyed catching up on grandchild stories when we saw each other.
