Kristine, Just a written note to express our sadness and condolences to you on the passing of your Father and our neighbor and friend. We enjoyed knowing your Father and Mother for the entire time that we have lived here in Reston, 36 years. Your parents were good friends and always kept a watchful eye out for Hiroko, when I used to have to travel out of town a lot. In spite of your Father's physical problems he always was a fighter and continued to try to progress towards recover in order to remain at home. Thus, his passing places him in a better place and with you Mother, which is what he wanted as much as anything. We hope that you are able to take comfort in knowing this. We were glad for you that you were able to spend the last few hours with your Father, prior to his passing. Your friends, Norman & Hiroko
