I was so sorry to hear of Capt Hoyt's passing. It was my pleasure to serve with him in Bahrain in 1987. He was a mentor and became a personal friend within a very short time period. I will always have fond memories of him and appreciation for all that he did for me. My prayers go out to his family.

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Mike. I worked with him at the Montgomery County Government when he was the Deputy Director and I was the Administrative Services Manager for DPWT. He had an easy going style that made work seem effortless. A very likable guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I can't believe the news. I, along with all of my fellow members of the Military Order of the Purple Heart are deeply saddened by the news of Mike's passing. I so enjoyed our time together, especially during our Washington DC Chpt, MOPH Mtg. He made them very lively and added his unique touch of humor to every topic. Sitting next to him during the meetings we had such great conversations. The meetings will never be the same now. May my fellow PH'er, veteran and friend have safe sails to his new home.
