I'm really happy for James because he feels no pain any more. Unfortunately for those of us left behind, we still feel the pain of loss.
I like to believe that when we lose someone close to us they still live through us and give us strength. The time we have spent with those we've lost makes them part of us.

I met Jim through work and he is all about love and respect and kindness. He always had his family in mind. His "angel" Janet. His kids, Brian, Andrew, Jim and Mitchell...his grandkids...his nieces/nephews...his friends...his dogs He loved me and my daughter. And he never let a conversation between us go by without telling me how proud he was of the father I am for my daughter and telling me he loved me. I know we'll meet again Jim. Peace and Love to your family and friends.

To my friend and neighbor Jim, At last you are no longer suffering and can rest peacefully. You were a good friend and neighbor. Jim was a charter member of the ROMEO (Retired Ole Men Eating Out) club which had 4 members. I will always remember the good times we had at our breakfasts. To Janet he always spoke of his love for you. To Andrew and Mitchell, he always spoke of how proud he was of you. Good bye my friend, I will see you again in the future and once again we shall have a ROMEO breakfast. Terry and Kathy Holstad

Janet and family, Please know that my heart goes out to all of you. Jim was a wonderful friend. I remember when we used to go and watch you bowl when we were neighbors in Sterling. We would stop at COSTCO and get a hot dog before going to the bowling alley. I worked with Jim for many years in ATT. He was such a caring person. You made him so happy Janet. He was so proud of you and all of your boys. Please know all of you will be in my prayers. I pray that God will give you the strength and peace you need during this very sad time.
