I met Uncle Andy in the bar of his hotel on his visit to Denver for one of his Army Air Corps reunions. While we were catching up our adventures and our families, the server came by to take our orders. I ordered a Coors Light beer and Uncle Andy, with a bemused look on his face, said if I wasn't going to have a drink I should have just said so. It wouldn't have been a problem, but he said it loud enough that it brought a chuckle from a some of the other grizzled old vets who were also in the bar. Ever since that episode, most every time I see a Coors Light commercial or order one of those Silver Bullets, I picture Uncle Andy and his "non-drinking" buddy in downtown Denver.
