Jeannie was someone who was a great leader and followere when needed.She was a true friend. She was happy and content with her station in life -Three wonderful daughters,parents,grandchildren, siblings,and a husband who loved her with all his heart and she loved him equally.Two years ago when I was visiting her i saw the girls also-It was special to see them all at one time. We had celebrated births, weddings, school activites,etc. Jeannie entertained with her sweet voice and strumming the guitar.We danced at the Ruritan Club,cleaned floors at the library,marched in parades,attended meetings- Of course we saw her leading the scouts,the Woman's club,strumming her guitar. Most of all we will see her in her garden, sitting in her yard and most of the time we saw Elliott with her.

Jean was a wonderful person who was like a 3rd mom to me. I will always treasure the happy times that she shared in my life. I remember as a little girl going over to her house and playing with Trina and Stephanie. Jean was a very loving, funny woman who will be missed by many, many people. I don't know if she knew how many lives she touched but hope she did. God bless her and the entire family. I wish I could be there to help celebrate Jean but due to distance I can not. What can I say??? I am so sad, but at the same time I am rejoicing in the fact that we got to spend time with Aunt Jean at the Howard Family Reunion in June. She was so much like Grandma. I am just so thankful that she was able to spend time with so much of the family and reconnect with friends. She had such a wonderful time.
