Roberta Morrissey McDermott, 69, on Saturday November 9, 2013, in Herndon VA. Beloved wife of Jerome McDermott. Loving mother and caregiver of Andrew, Kate, John, and Dorothy. Sister of Joe Morrissey. Nana to Natalie, Charlie, Rich, and Ben. Aunt to Jess, Chris, Pat, and Phil. She was a proud special education teacher for over 40 years. A visitation will take place on Thursday November 14, 2013, from 11am-1pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street Herndon VA. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am the following day at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree Street Herndon VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to United Cerebral Palsy. Information may found and online condolences may be left at www.adamsgreen.com
