My deepest sympathy goes to the family. I lost touch with Bill after High School, each of us going our separate ways and moving away from Clairton. I remember the fun times we had growing up in the 1960's, playing ball at Eagles Club lot and football at Ascension Church parking lot. I'm sure Bill will be missed by all. Gone but not forgotten.

Dear Paula and Maueen I was stunned and very sad to hear the news about Billy. What a great person and what a great loss. I was also taken with the photos of his lovely family. Bill was most often, if not laughing or being his usual gregarious self, was at the minimum wearing a big, friendly smile. Bill lit up the atmosphere of the warehouse with his consistent humor and good nature. Bill was very intelligent and was as well very helpful to his fellow workers. If you were looking for Bill, all you had to do was listen for the beautiful music of Bill's laughter. We will really miss Bill. God Bless Bill and God Bless Bill's family and Bill's friends.

Very sad news about Billy. I spent many fun days growing up with him and other guys from Park and Wilson avenues in Clairton playing wiffel ball. Billy hit many home runs over the wall in center field into the Capalupos yard. There were also basketball games in the alley. Billy was by far the best shooter and everyone wanted to be on his team. Reconnecting with him a few years ago at a reunion was a great pleasure and I am very grateful for that opportunity. Condolences to Davrian and family. Danny Pollock

I remember Billy starting from when he lived near my cousin Sandy Maksin on I think Park Avenue in Clairton when our age was in the single digits...from then until I most recently saw him at a recent high school reunion Billy was always an incredibly nice person who was always in a good mood and smiling.i also remember his unique laugh and and how well he always treated everyone.My sincere condolences to Davrian and all of her and Bill's family.Billy was a great guy. My heartfelt condolences to Davrian and her girls, Paula and Maureen. My memory of Bill was of a vibrant, smiling young man with a wonderful sense of humor. I recall vividly my college days when I traveled to Park Avenue and found some fiercely competitive 'gamers,' when that definition meant people around a playing board with dice and some tokens. Bill was usually at the center of the action. Many folks surely can recall the laughter he brought to their lives. And you will uniquely remember the little things -- the small, everyday occurrences that will linger in your thoughts. May the treasure trove of memories sustain you in the days and months ahead.
