Obituary of William Joseph Hunt

William Joseph Hunt, of Sterling, VA, passed away on November 14, 2013 after a fight with cancer. William was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on July 10, 1953 to William and Irene Hunt. He married Davrian Jones on October 25, 1980. After graduating from the Electronics Institutes of Pittsburgh, PA, William relocated to Sterling, Virginia. He worked as an electronics technician with Sharp Electronics for 20 years and then Verizon. William was an avid golfer, bowler, card player and fantasy football fanatic. He coached youth soccer and basketball in the area for over 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Davrian, daughters, Samantha and Katie, son-in-law Chris, and sisters, Paula and Maureen. A viewing will be held Tuesday, November 19, at the chapel of Christ the Redeemer Church 46833 Harry Byrd Hwy Sterling, VA from 6-8pm. At the viewing, the family will be inviting people to share their memories of Bill from 7:30-8:00 in a celebration of his life. Funeral arrangements will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, November 20, at Christ the Redeemer Church.
