Obituary of Freida Elizabeth Robey

Freida Robey was born and raised in Florida, where she attended Florida State University. She moved to the Washington D.C. area upon graduation, where she met and married her late husband DeOrman Robey Jr. and had three children, Elizabeth (Betsy), DeOrman the third, and John. Over her long and successful career as a computer programmer, Freida worked on many groundbreaking projects in the fields of mapping and calculation, including the interpretation of satellite photography and telemetry tracking. In her personal life, Freida was an enthusiastic student of local history and tracing her family genealogy, always eager to share knowledge of distinguished members of her family tree. She will be remembered as an intelligent, extremely social woman who was quick to be generous with her time and enthusiasm.
