Obituary of Jack Edward Lehtonen

Jack Edward Lehtonen 72, of Sterling, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Peg Lehtonen. They were married for 45 years. Born in Port Chester, New York a son of the late Urho and Elsie (Nyberg) Lehtonen. Besides his devoted wife he is survived by his loving son and daughter, Scott Edward Lehtonen and his wife Michelle of Round Hill, Virginia and Elizabeth Marta Hatch and her husband Jason of Jamestown, Rhode Island. Jack leaves behind one brother, Robert Lehtonen and his wife Sim of Brewster, New York. He will be greatly missed by his treasured grandchildren, Kailah Joyce and Maren Elizabeth of Jamestown, Rhode Island. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:30 at St. John Neumann Parish, Reston, Virginia. His burial will follow. Visiting hours will be Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 4-6 pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Virginia. Memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association or The American Lung Association.
