Obituary of Michael Charles Sturgeon

Michael Charles Sturgeon (age 69) On August 14, 2014 at the Specialty Hospital of Washington, DC; beloved husband of 45 years to Catherine Sturgeon of Sterling, VA. He was the loving and devoted father of Christina Murto (Eric) of Richmond, VA, David Sturgeon (Alyssa) of Washington, DC and Matthew Sturgeon (Elizabeth) of Sterling, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren; William, Teresa, Mia and Dashiell. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday August 20, 2014 and 10-11am Thursday August 21, 2014 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling, VA 20164 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am on Thursday. Interment will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
