The passing of the Buffalo Mitchells' Matriarch has left a tremendous loss with those who knew and loved her! She was so thoughtful and genuinely kind! I loved receiving hand written notes from her throughout the years.
My thoughts of Aunt Sue are those of immense respected inspiration. She was a tremendously strong woman who loved her family and faith very deeply. Raising seven children is a tribute to love reserved for a few special people and she was definitely special!
Each life is touched by others. With some, the touch is warm and loving and lingers forever. This is how Aunt Sue touched me.
May her incredible life be a reminder to us all that one person CAN mare a difference. Although we will miss her terribly, she has some great company in Heaven. God's peace to you all!

Dear John Mitchell and Family, Please accept our sorrowful condolences upon Sue's graceful departure, and our heartfelt admiration for her life and your family. My mother, Janet Anne LaFramboise Slavin, was so fond of Sue, as is her sister Edith LaFramboise Joppich, who recently put me back in touch with her. I feel so fortunate to have spoken with John and with Sue just before Thanksgiving, when she so graciously told me about her own mother, and about her pride in and deep love for her entire family. what a shocker! I was awaiting the annual Christmas letter & photos full of newsy chatter. John and Sue have been a part of my life for more than 50 years.
