Eddie and I were great pals in high school and on through the years ~ as close as our gang was, it was made even closer through Jinny's efforts. She and Eddie never failed to keep in touch, to entertain us, and to wish us well in tough times. He always had a good story or joke to tell ~ was willing to listen to the "other side" of an issue ~ and, in high school, he was always willing to drive us Chi Rho gals up to Ocean City (of course, he would NEVER stop on the way). He will be missed not just by me and Doug, but by lots of other folks.

I met Eddie back in the 1950's in Washimgton D.C. along with his Parents Boyd and Virginia. I was in the Army stationed at Fort Belvoir,VA just outside D.C. Both Eddie and his parents took me under their wing, and made life bearable for a 19 year old away from home. They made certain that I knew what was going on, and invited me to all the functions of The Carl Elliot gang. I was particularly welcomed more so by Eddie, him being nearer my age. We had some good times together. I had lost touch over the years, but still grieve his passing. I offer my best wishes and condolences for his family.
