I have many memories of this special lady who rented me a room in her home when I was working in DC and as yet unmarried. I enjoyed her companionship & good cooking. I will miss our frequent phone conversations, however, I am glad for her that she could be released from her frail body and go onto something far greater. One of my favorite memories with Kaethi was singing hymns while she played the piano (often after Bible Study). Once there were a couple of us ladies singing together after a lunch visit with Kaethi - and she got the idea to sing the hymns in different languages (I got english), MaryLou Collins was singing spanish, someone was singing in french... it was a lot of fun! Kaethi was always so glad to visit and very kind in every memory I have of her. Sad to know she is gone, but thankful for her faithful life.

Renee met Kaethi around 1979. She remembers Kaethi's dedication to her faith, seeing Kaethi many times enjoying, in church and meetings, the spiritual gift given to her. Then, in recent years after her strokes, Renee and I frequently visited Kaethi in assisted living and enjoyed fellowship with her, even up to last week. Her faith remained strong to the end--a great testimony. We will miss our visits with her, but know she is in a better place. I met Kaethi in 1987 when Diana and I began attending church with her. We met with her many years for Bible studies. When Diana became ill in 2000, Kaethi brought us meticulously prepared, heart-healthy, meals. She was so caring and helpful, a good example.

We will miss our dear friend who was more like family. We first met Kaethi over 39 years ago when she babysat our son, Grant, from the time he was 2 months until he was 2 years old. From that time, Kaethi and her family were our family. We know you are at rest and will be in a far better place in your eternal home.
