Obituary
Obituary of Brian Patrick Madden
Please share a memory of Brian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Brian leaves behind an abundance of family and friends that cherished his spirit, strength, companionship and love - all of whom will sorely miss him. As all will attest, Brian never balked at assisting the needs of others and always made the extra effort to help by either lending an ear or a hand to either comfort or minimize the strain anyone was experiencing. Brian also actively participated in various organizations, charities and causes that he felt made the world a better place.
Brian enjoyed the outdoors where he constantly sought 'off the beaten path' destinations to set up his camper; was an avid fan of live music of almost any kind; had a passion for working on his beach house where he most likely wanted to retire and invested a great deal of time 'trying' to improve his golf game that most would agree was a waste of money. But most of all, Brian cherished any and all opportunities to spend quality time with his family and friends - more than likely these events went well into the wee hours of the morning.
Brian had deep roots in various regions of the US; including Pennsylvania, Southern California and Northern Virginia. Ultimately, he decided to make Northern Virginia his home base in order to be near his family, complete his Accounting Degree at the University of Maryland, embark on a career in Accounting and, of utmost importance and a tremendous source of pride to him, establish his own brood. He is survived by his wife Rose and his daughters Charlotte and Brooke; his parents Joe and Nancy and his siblings Kevin, Megan and Mike.
Brian was a loving and devoted husband to Rose, as well as a doting father to Charlotte and Brooke. Brian met Rose while working at Unisys and took the plunge in 1998 - a few years later welcoming the first of two children to the world. Whether it was working with 'Chardewskis' homework, piano, Jump-shot or short golf game or assisting 'Brookie-do' with her assignments, soccer or cookie drives; Brian has played a meaningful role in insuring that their needs were met above and beyond. Although his physical self no longer exists, his presence most certainly endures. God Bless you Brian.
