I was lucky enough to have spent many years at the family farm in Arcola with Darlene and my best friend back then, her daughter Donna. Donna and I took turns spending the weekends at each others homes during middle and high school. Darlene would take us to the mall, out to eat and let us run and be "kids". She bought us concert tickets more than once and always had our favorite "teen" magazines on hand. I LOVED the farm and my weekends there - such a special part of my "growing up" - best memories EVER!!! Sorry to not have spent time with Darlene and family the past 20 or so years - though I did see her a time or two. Rest in Peace sweet "mom". You will be missed!!! Next time I go to Disney (I live in Florida now) it will be in your honor and memory.

I was so sorry to hear of Darlene's passing. She was one of the sweetest people I know. She always was there if you needed a helping hand. I enjoyed working with her and she will be missed by all. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
