Obituary of Elsie Marie Tomblin

Tomblin, Elsie "Jackie" Age 84 Of Herndon, Va on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Reston Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Irvin L. Tomblin. Devoted mother of Carolyn Hurd. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie was the President of the VFW Women's Auxiliary Post 1177 and also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Herndon Fire Department. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Herndon and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA on Saturday, January 17, 2015 from 1:00 PM until funeral services at 2:00 PM. Interment will be held at Sterling Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie's name may be made to First Baptist Church of Herndon, 681 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170
