Mary Kaye was an incredible lady, working until the very end. She contacted me just a few weeks ago to ask if I still needed assistance finding a job. I did not, but we kept in touch until the week before she passed away, and I had no idea she had been ill or was dying of cancer. Needless to say, I was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. RIP, MKaye.

I was born and raised in The Bronx and I live there now. But in 2005 I journeyed down to DC to start up my recruiting career that had been on hold for several years. Figured a fresh start is something I needed. It was a wonderful time in my life...I stayed for 5 years. I met such wonderful people down there, people that I am still friends with to this day. Mary Kaye was one of the people that really impacted my life. She was kind and caring, she was sweet, she was motherly and honestly kinda Bad A#s. Not the lady to mess with...but always so professional and classy. She was running her own division at Friends and Company and had such a great reputation. She placed so many people in the jobs they always wanted...she mentored so many of us there and I found out she did that all her career. She made me feel welcome and supported me by telling me positive things all the time. She always made me smile and always talked to me about problems or issues I was having. I consider her a dear friend. After I left DC we kept in touch...the last time I spoke to her she told me how she would love to give me a glowing reference for a new job. She was the best in my book. I'm having trouble working today and had to leave the office yesterday after I found out. I am sorry not to be there today but I know she knew I loved her and I know she knew a lot of people loved her. I also know I am one of many that will never...ever.... forget Mary Kaye!! May she rest in peace

Hi Teri, Dawn, Sheri, and Jack - I am so sorry to hear that Mary Kaye is gone - when I read the post of her passing I felt numb because I just saw her in our Chiropractic clinic for treatment a little while ago. We all loved her tenacious spirit and spunk. She was more than a patient to me, she was also a friend and a confidant who would share of her life wisdom. When she came to our office for her Chiropractic treatments she would ask me how my wife and my twin (5 yrs. old) girls were. She got so much pleasure from hearing the latest silly/amusing things that the twins were doing and saying. She would usually break out in laughter and often times give out a snort or two. I will miss her smile, personality, and especially the snorty laughter. She loved all of her children, grandchildren (GB's), great grandchildren (GGB's), her puppy, and of course Jack. We will all miss Mary Kaye. I am so sorry for your and our loss. She was an inspiration to so many - Take Care and God Bless <><...

I was shocked and sadden to hear of Mary Kaye's passing. I was one of her many clients in the law firm industry. Although tenacious, she was always warm and caring with a great sense of humor. We worked together for many years and doing that time we became friends. She often spoke about her beloved husband, children and especially her grandchildren. We lost an angel.

Mary Kaye was my other mother by default. Her daughter Dawn and I were always together. I was always in her home and she treated me like one of her own. We shared good times and bad times. One of my most challenging times she was front and center and did not waiver in her support of me. She made a lasting impression. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to reconnect with her. She was a wonderful woman and I will never forget her. Love You MK!

4Staff is very sad to hear of the passing of our friend and associate, Mary Kaye Reinhard. Mary Kaye was an “institution” in staffing for the legal community in Washington, but more importantly, she was an incredible woman. She was one of the hardest working people we have had the pleasure of knowing and working with (as you can see by the picture, even cancer couldn't stop her from working). She touched the lives of many and cared so very-very deeply about her candidates and clients. Mary Kaye was an inspiration to many and just an extraordinary person. She fought cancer the only way she knew how, with grit, determination, hard work and humor. We will miss you, MK. Rest in Peace!
