Age 70
Of Sterling, Va on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. Beloved husband of Joyce E. Purks, Devoted father of Krista (Lawrence) Lynch and Scott (Lisa) Purks; son of Lois Purks of Fredericksburg,
VA; brother of Diana Branscome and Judy Baker. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, Molly and Natalie Lynch, and Ava and Benjamin Purks. The family will receive friends at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Va on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church, 201 E. Frederick Drive, Sterling, Va 20164 on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 1PM. Interment Sterling Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
