I'm missing you more every day Daddy. This is so hard. I walk into your apartment, look in your recliner to say "hello", but of course you're not there. My heart is just broken, but I comfort myself knowing you're pain-free and in a better place. I will miss all my visits with you since you lived so close now, taking orders from you on how to make your coffee, how to sweeten your cereal, how to spice your food, etc. I joked recently upon leaving your apartment that I felt like a waitress with roller skates on, but I'd do it all over in a heartbeat just to have you back. I will miss taking you to your doctor visits, us making ice cream with you, getting your groceries for you or making the list, picking up your favorite breakfast at Virginia Kitchen and bringing it to you...I could go on and on. I know you are celebrating with your parents, siblings and my grandfather (who was like your 2nd father). I miss you dearly, but please watch over us and we will see you soon. I Love You Daddy more than words can express!

I miss you Daddy and love you very much. Tomorrow I will see your physical body for the last time. It breaks my heart to say goodbye tomorrow but I know you are healed and rejoicing with your parents and siblings in a better place. You fought a long valiant battle with your weak heart and I know you are resting peacefully now. You will be forever in my heart and thoughts. I am happy we got to spend so much time together the last 4 and 1/2 years. Whether taking a trip to the doctor, making your grocery list, discussing the day's news headlines or sports outcome, or sharing a weekly pizza, we enjoyed our time together. I will always remember the life lessons you passed on to me from your father. I love you and I will see you again one day.

Donnie and I want to tell you how sorry we are. Tony fought the long hard fight and that pain is over. He will now rest with his Mom, Dad, brother and other family members. All of us will meet again in time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now.

My heart goes out to your family. I am so sorry for your loss. Claude will be dearly missed. Though the pain you're feeling must seem unbearable, please remember that you are not alone. Psalms 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Pray to Him for strength. Weep to Him when there are no words. One of the poets of the Bible said at Psalms 56:8, "You keep track of my wandering. Do collect my tears in your skin bottle." You see, God understands your pain and He cares for you very much (1 Peter 5:7). And He will really help you get through this difficult time (Isaiah 41:10).
