I remember Aunt Pat when she lived in our house on East Main Street in Torrington. I would babysit for her and Uncle Frank while they went out. Aunt Pat always looked beautiful and wore Topaz Perfume which was my favorite. I said "wow! Do you smell!" Meaning a good thing but it sure came out wrong. I quickly explained I loved the perfume. She just chuckled.I love Aunt Pat with all my heart. Peace and Love be with you.

One year when I was visiting, Mom and I were trying to get a twin bed mattress up to the third level for me to sleep on. We got it up the stairs to about the midway point, and then it became stuck. It struck us as so funny, because we just couldn't figure out how to solve the problem. She was on one side of the mattress, and I was on the other, and we were stuck on those stairs. We laughed and laughed and laughed so hard that we lost all our strength and just had to sit down on the stairs to catch our breath. To this day, I can't remember how the mattress finally made it up the stairs, but I sure do remember us laughing until we cried! I will miss my laughing buddy more than words can ever say.

While traveling Pat bought some postcards. She told me she got a good deal. Usually they were 25 cents each, but she was able to get four for a dollar. After a moment, she realized what she had just said and started to laugh.
