My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother and grandmother, Ann. I've known Ann since our days at St. Paul. She was a good person with a quick wit and a deep devotion to her family. I remember the year Brittany wanted an American Girl doll for Christmas and all that goes with it. Ann made the doll clothes and her husband made the furniture. True grandparents! I will remember her fondly.

ONE OF ANN'S FAVORITE SAYINGS WAS "GETTING OLD IS NOT FOR SISSIES"... Ann had many challenges in Life and losing her Mobility and needing a Walker due to Post op Nerve Damage following her Hip Replacement caused a Big Change in her Lifestyle and Not being able to Drive limited this Active lady who was out everyday helping someone somehow. Ann Holt was Awarded the "GOOD NEIGHBOR AWARD' By the Town of Herndon at a Herndon Town Council Meeting several years ago. Needy neighbors whose families lived elsewhere called Ann any time of day or night and she would get them to the Hospital or Dr's Office, pick up their RX or get their groceries. We trusted her with our keys and she cared for me post op on many Occasions following surgeries or accidents. I give a special tribute to Karen and Tom who cared for Ann with Loving Devotion and countless hours as Ann had many needs that took Commitment.. and Patience.... I was grateful that Renee and Herve came to be with Ann so that she could pass away in Peace.. Thank you. We will miss a very special lady.

Ann was married to my Uncle Walter, I did not know her well, but the times that we did spend together, I knew she was very sweet and caring. She took such good care of Uncle Walter and was such a good friend to my Aunt Virginia. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers for your family.

My mother loved her sister. I know they are together now. Aunt Ann had the best sense of style and had so much talent. I am so very sorry for your loss. She was a giving and honest person with a big heart to those close to her. I hope she is having a great time with her parents and the 2 brothers and sister in heaven now. Prayers for her family who are missing her so much right now.

I will forever remember the happy times I spent with Ann during the 37 years I knew her. I gained so much support and knowledge from her wisdom, kindness and "just being there". She was my dearest friend. May you, her family, find peace and comfort in the loving arms of God our Father, as we seek to fill this great loss and void in the days ahead. V. Rogers, Conway, SC

I love animals, yes even frogs. Frogs became special because we lived near a stream where we could hear the frogs in the summer. I could pick them up and play with them and watch them hop around. One evening when Mom and I were walking the dog, he spotted a frog and picked it up in his mouth. He was a pretty young curious puppy and thought the hopping frog was interesting. I was horrified -- "my frog"!! My quick thinking mom got the dog running to open his mouth and spit out the frog. She was always clever like that.
Thanks, Mom, for all the big and little things you did for us. Love, Renee
