Mrs. Selton was one of the nicest and hard working people I have ever met. She always had a good sense of humor and laughed at all of my jokes. I will always remember her for how hard she worled and fought. One day, when I was hamging out over at their house with Michael, I remember seeing her working on some law work. At the time she was wuite sick, and she had to take naps inbetween work sessions. The moment I saw that, i thought of how hard she is fighting, and how hard she was trying to provide for her beloved family, and how she was an extrememly hard worker. All in all, she was a great woman, and I wish Mr. Selton, Michael, David, James, and Claire all the best. "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. Peggy had a positive attitude that was infectious. Peggy's devotion to family and faith were rivaled only by her hard work and brilliance. Peggy's humble and humorous way made her approachable and easy to talk to. I admired Peg and Phil over the years and in that time my admiration has grown. We will miss Peggy deeply, but knowing how she lived her life, we are inspired on how to live ours.

God Bless Peggy, and the Selton and Leary families. I cannot absorb the readability of this. I recall the privilege of working with Peggy in her as Mary Maid of Honor. I am certain Peggy left all with consoling memories of laughing and enjoying with Peggy thru the years. God Bless Peggy. I will have a mass offered in her honor. Pat McNiff and Family

Peggy is an inspiration to anyone who ever knew her. I'll always remember her graciousness, hospitality, outgoingness, cheerfulness, and all around great disposition at family get-togethers (I am her husband Phil's cousin), all the more so while she was battling her illness. I'm sure her Spirit will always live on in Phil, Michael, David, Claire, and James. On behalf of my family, God Bless. - Ken Dulberg.

I worked with Peggy for a number of years at W. Stephen Leary and later Leary, Bride, Tinker & Moran. Peg always had a smile on her face, those blue eyes always sparkling. She was more than a co-worker, she was a friend. To her family and friends, I am so sorry for your loss. Love you Peg.

Peggy is absolutely the very best cousin a person could ever hope for! My happiest memories of visiting my mom's family in Westfield, NJ, involve Peggy Anne! Peggy is a beautiful person inside and out.....she is also one of the most intelligent people on Earth:) She never failed to make us laugh! Peggy, you were an amazing inspiration to our sister Cathy who also fought a heroic battle against cancer. I will be eternally grateful for the love and support you have shown Cathy, Tara, and all of the Smiths. You are the very best of the best. Thank you for the joy and laughter you shared with us. We will laugh together again one day xoxoxoxoxo Love, Peggy, Tony, Sean, Maddie, and Teresa xoxoxo

Moms live in a special place in the hearts of their children. That's why mothers will continue to live even after they pass on. Deepest sympathies to all. I met Peg while at West Point and many of us would visit BC during the school year. She was always a class act and just "had it together." Phil and Peg built a beautiful family together ... and I know Peg will always be watching and caring for her children. God has raised Peg up on Eagle's wings and holds her in the palm of His hand. God Bless.

Peg and Phil are both such inspirations to our family. Peg faced her illness with such courage and faith. She prayed throughout and spoke of the healing power of prayer. She maintained her dignity, sense of humor and faith throughout her struggle. I'm proud to have known her for nearly 30 years--she was a positive influence in my life and I am a better person because of knowing Peg. My prayers go out to Phil--who set such an example of a strong, loving husband and partner throughout Peg's battle. Also to Michael, David, James, and Clare--all amazing, caring kids who also faced their mother's illness with strength and courage--they truly reflect the strength and love of their parents. Lastly, to Peg's entire family--thank you for the great times during the BC years and beyond--and for sharing your amazing daughter and sister with all of us. Peg is most certainly in the loving embrace of the Lord and is now praying and watching out for all of us from above.
